Directions to Radiation Safety Office
If you drive, you can try to find free parking on Riverside Drive, or try to find metered parking on the street, or one of the pay-for-parking lots in the neighborhood. By subway, you would get off at Broadway & West 168th Street, with either the A, C, 1, or 9 trains. If you possess a valid columbia ID you can also travel by Columbia University Shuttle Service. Schedules and stops for shuttles from different directions are as follows
Downtown Shuttle : CUMC-Morning Side Campus
Uptown Shuttle : CUMC-GWB
Uptown Shuttle : CUMC-Ft. Lee
When you get to the Medical Campus, walk west on 168th Street, past Fort Washington Ave, until the end of 168th St., where it meets Haven Ave. Turn slightly to your left, and you will see the Allan Rosenfield Building (a.k.a., Mailman School of Public Health Building), 722 West 168th Street. As you enter the building you will see the security desk, where you can get visitor passes.
The lobby where you enter is actually on the 10th floor of the building, since it is built on the hill that starts below on Riverside Drive. The elevators are straight in front of you. In the elevator press "R4," and you will be taken down to the 4th floor (as counted from the ground level on Riverside Drive). Exit the elevator and turn to your right. The Radiation Safety Office is at the very end of the hallway.
